Funmi Oyeyinka
Mrs. Oluwafumilayo Oyeyinka, a co-founder of NISED had her secondary education at Federal Government College Odogbolu after which she proceeded to Federal Government College, Illorin for her “A” Levels. She attended University of Lagos from 1980 to 1983 and graduated with a second class upper division in Economics. She went for further studies at the University of Lagos and obtained a Masters degree in Monetary Economics [1985], Post Graduate Diploma in Education [1987] and a Masters degree in Education Administration [1989].
She later proceeded to University of Lincionshire, UK where she obtained an MBA degree in Marketing. Mrs Oyeyinka is a qualified stockbroker and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbroker. She started her teaching career as an Economics lecturer at the Federal College of Education [Tech] Akoka – a teacher training institution. Having taught for 5 years, she joined Pacific Merchant Bank in 1990 as a Banking Executive and subsequently moved to Lead Merchant Bank as Assistant Manager. She was the Managing Director of Fitjoy Associates Ltd – a reputable exporter of cocoa beans and cashew nuts to European destinations for 4 years before establishing Fitjoy School in 2001. Mrs. Oyeyinka is a member of NAPPS [National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools] Agege – Lagos Chapter.
